My zanussi condensor cuts out if I try and run it with heat - it cuts out immediately with medium or high heat and after a moment or two on very low heat. Is it th eheating element that is gone - or is there a thermal fuse or something like that?

If the heating elemenet - is it difficult to replace?

Peter, It sounds like the fan at the reat behind the condenser isnt running. Take off te rear plastic cover and see if the belt is slipping or broken.
