loss of brake pedal on my peugeot 106, have plenty of fluid in the reservoi?

Brake pedal on my 106 has dropped, there is plenty of fluid the reservoir, any ideas?

has any work been carried out on brakes? if so could be air in system, it will need bleeding. pump pedal and check all pipe work to see if you are losing any fluid. also consult a workshop manual
