i been to my local B&Q and halfords but they do not have the right size to fit the switch to big or too small, i was wondering if anybody knows the size of the terminal then i could trawl the internet looking for them. thanks

They're called Lucar connectors I believe - often found on motor cars and inside domestic appliances.

Some are solder-on and others crimp-on which means access to either a soldering iron or a crimp tool.

Lucars can be bought form DIY stores Motorist stores some electrical shops and electronic hobby stores like Maplin in the UK.
