the power light is flashing, repeatedly & when you set the alarm the red lights for the zones dont come on & the alarm noise sounds different, whats wrong with this can i fix it myself?

the alarm system is a veritas 8c, it was installed roughly bout 5/6 years ago

nick this is the most easiest question ive herd for an alarm engineer you should know this but nick is right dont get mess with the mains but this is to do with the mains on the left hand side of the panel or right there should be a black pull out fuse which is where the mains connects in pull that out and check the fuse has not gone because this can happen if it has then in the panel the veritas series have spair fuses take one and replace if still no diffrence then check your fuse box for any tripped fuses
