i have a new 3 button remote for my ford fiesta which i have successfully programmed to lock and unlock the doors i have also had it cut to fit the locks and ignition however i cant seem to program the key to start the engine? and have followed the instructions in the hand book which comes with the vehicle. (2006 mark 6 fiesta)

you need to transfer the old glass chip from your old key to identify it its located in the remote where the rubber is when removed from key housing
