i assume you mean when on it's highest setting, if so this is normal as the highest setting is normally only used for fluid level check and wheel changing, the front should also be as hard as the back when in the high position if not there could be a problem wih the height corrector which will cause the suspension to fall when the car is jacked up, if the suspension becomes hard when in the normal ride height position then the spheres need changing
