I have the diesel xsara picasso, and the dashboard is playing up. When I start the engine either the dashboard lights up or it doesnt. If its on it stays on until I switch off the engine. When its off everything works except the rear window heater and the hazard lights.. Help please

See the thread on changing the bulbs. (You can change the bulbs as well!) There are some multi-connectors behind the display which may need a jiggle and some wd40. If a 'slap' on top of the display solves the problem, then it is this simple old-connector-corroded-or-loose problem. (A 'slap' is probably not recommended by Citroen, but definitely required for the person who designs the idiological bits of modern cars.!)
