At the rear of the machine there are 2 x hexagonal screws holding the lid on! Remove these and the lid will, if pushed from the front, come off. Look at the top of the drum there will be a black mark where the belt was if its broken. If so the belt will be lying at the bottom of the machine.

take the lid off and you will see the belt around the drum unless it is broken
