baxi instant 105e pressure vessel problem?

can I add an additional pressure vessel to my heating system and leave the old faulty one in place ,to save taking the boiler off the wall to access the part, as this is the second time in 12 months that it has failed , any help much appreciated

there was inhibitor in the system but obviously its been diluted by loosing water out of the prv and topping up every time the heating has been on, I have seen comments on other sites tonight saying fit vessel on return pipework .un sure of any effect this would have as apposed to flow, thanks for the help guys

yes just put it close to the boiler on the flow, second one gone, unusual, could be muckie water is the a inhibarotr in the system?

as far as i am aware you can use an external vessel, however it may affect the hot water performance as this boiler uses part of the expansion vessel as a hot water store.
you may be able to remove it without taking it off the wall if there is enough clearance above the boiler and if you slide the flue out, though getting to the connections isn't easy.
check that the water in the system isn't very dirty causing the diaphragm in the vessel to perish prematurely.
