on the back of your dryer is a metal part that sticks out which contains the heater and thermostat.
take of the metal cover from the back make sure you unplug the dryer first!!
look for a small metal device inside with 2 wires going to it should be near the heater somewhere.
in the middle of this devive there should be a small pin hole get a pin or needle and push it into the hole untill it goes click, this is the thermostat it protects it from over heating.put back to gether then give that a try.
you may need to clean out the big metal filter in the bottom of the dryer to stop it from doing it again take this out of the machine and get a garden hose and wash out all the fluff. if your not sure i give you my hotmail.
