My AEG 57520 condenser dryer has stopped heating up - has thermostat gone?

My AEG 57520 condenser dryer (around 4 years old) has stopped heating up, but the drum still turns and I think that it's blowing out cold air (but this isn't drying the clothes). We've cleaned out the filters but it still doesn't work. Has the thermostat gone and is this expensive to replace? Or could it be something else?

Thank you!

could be a faulty heater also.needs testing with a multimeter to find out really unless you can see it has blown but its not always the case!
