My JLTDC05 Tumble Dryer start button is not responding?

When you press the start button it feels like it has lost its connection inside. Other words its a little bit loose and does not connect behind it in order to be able to push it on.
Anyone recommend how I can fix this without a huge engineer bill. Other than that the three year old dryer works perfectly.

There is a plastic panel with key presses behind each that usually breaks preventing contact being made - had to call and engineer and he told me 'it was a bad design that needed an engineer call out each time and 'call me cynical' but it's there to get revenue for the repair firm' Sorry I can't say how to fix it

Had the same problem. It is the plastic diffuser behind the buttons. Very easy to change. espares part no. ES626142
