Does a PowerMac 310 have an automatic chain oiler?

When I bought my used PM 310 I thought the elderly gentleman who sold it to me said that it had an automatic chain oiler. Later, when I was having trouble with the chain adjustment I discovered the lack of lubrication and figured out the push button oiler worked fine. My question is does the PM 310 also have an auto oiler and if so how do I make sure it is working?

It does have an auto oiler, however it was not very good, it was a disc in a cylinder, the posative and negative charge from the piston riseing and falling was fed through the bottom of the crankcase which made it pulsate, and thus pump oil, Danarm used a similar system and that did not work either. You will be hard pushed to get any parts for this machine, so it is best not messed with, carry on useing the manual oiler, if you want to get at it you will have to remove the tank front and check that the pin on the disc has not seized in the housing.
