Beko Motor fell off?

Got a problem with a 3 year old Beko WMA 641 W washing machine. The motor has broken free from the rear drum assembly (found it sitting on the floor under the machine).

It appears to fit onto the tub assembly by slipping onto four plastic mounts (pegs) and then screwing in four hex bolts that spread the plastic pegs out to grip the motor mounts.

One of these plastic pegs has completely broken off and the other three are all misshaped, hence how the motor fell off.

Two options that I think I have:

1. Remove all the plastic pegs and mount the motor using long bolts and neoprene/rubber bushes. Needs some work and probably more hassle than what it is worth.

2. Replace rear tub assembly.

Option 1, looks good and sounds good, but is probably not practical, so it looks like option 2.

If I buy the rear tub part (£80.00 approx). How difficult is it to replace this in washing machine?

Does it need a complete strip down or is it done through the rear of the machine?

(Stripping down and rebuilding isn't a problem and I would probably class myself as proficient enough to carry out the work).

you need to take the whole drum out and split it in half.knock drum out and then fit new rear half.takes me 1hr to do them now but expect to have a days entertainment as a first time job
