thermostatic value broken on wickes' Cascada Thermostatic Mixer Shower ?

I have a Wickes' Cascada Thermostatic Mixer Shower but the thermostatic value is no longer working.

I keep turning it but it isn't catching in place.

Any suggestions how I might fix this please?
