How can I fix my Beko Dishwasher DE 3430FW?

The dishwasher starts to discharge water when the main on off button is applied. The stop start button does not seem to switch the cycle on or off. The programme does not advance and the pump just continues to operate. Could the stop/start button be at fault and is there any way to test this?

you have water in the base.
tip the machine on its back to drain water out.retry and see what happens.if water ends up in the base in a short time you have a leak and will need to find out where from by removing the side panels and running it whilst watching for a leak
