Right. Now you lift one of the batteries out of the compartment by the paper rolls. Set the key to REG mode. Turn power off at the wall for 5 minutes or so. Turn power on and machine should beep three times. Put the battery back in (if in doubt about the age of the batteries, best to replace them now).
Set the date and time.
Try the machine in REG mode and see if the decimal point is correct. Let me know if anything works differently than before and I'll help you to set it up further.
