how do i deristrict a yamaha neo's 50cc moped ?

Iv brought a yamaha neo.s 50cc moped from nearly new and its fully restricted to 30mph whats the easiest way to make it go faster ?

take exhuast off look down the pipe if there is a cone knock it off give it a bit of a sand so your exhuast can give out its full power best to get a arfter market exhuast from websites such as pedparts and adrenaline ped stop but if you buy 1 it may also need deristricting hope i have helped all other peoples ideas will work do them all and youll be on your way m8 enjoy the jobs int to hard if you want a easy way to take veriater off use a locking tool ask a friend for 1 or buy 1 online

iv now taken the variator washer out and it makes a hell of a difarance nearly 15mph better but now sometimes when i stop then accelorate away again it holds back and wont pull any idea why this might be so

the easyst way to make it go faster is to buy a new exhaust and dirstrict the exhaust or if you take it to a bike shop they will dirstrict it for you if that help's

undo all the allen bolts around the transmission cover where the kickstart is and the one in the middle next to the kickstart,leave the kickstart bolted on the shaft you dont need to touch that.Then take the cover off it should just pull off but sometimes you need to wiggle it a bit to get it off,then once off you will see wo round things and a belt running between them the round thing on the left is the variator,undo the nut in the middle of it (it will be very tight) you may need to use an impact gun or hold it still another waybe careful not to damage it though.then take the outer piece off with the fins on it and then you will see a round spacer looking like a mans wedding ring in silver take this out and then put it all back together again i would use some loctite on the thread of the nut and crankshaft as it can come loose and cause havoc in there.there you go it should do a bit off 50mph on the clock after that.
