This condenser dryer collects the condensate water in a sump at the rear of the machine. This water is then pumped up to the drawer with a small electric motor. when the drawer is full, water is returned to the sump & a full sump operates the float switch. Float switch operation inhibits the heat & turns on the 'drawer full' light.
If the light is on & you've got no heat, then the float switch is made!
Check the following ...
1. Either the float switch is correct & The pump has failed. the float has operated due to a full sump. Remove the cover from the lower plastic grey cover on the rear back panel to investigate
2. The float switch has lied. - The sump level switch is stuck 'up' Disassemble the grey plastic cover at the bottom of the rear panel to investigate (with the machine un-plugged). Ensure that the polystyrene float is free to travel up & down, and that the microswitch clicks appropriately.
