renult scenic 1999 leaking water in footwells and boot?

can anyone help i brought a renult scenic 1999 a few days ago and have noticed that there is puddles of water in passenger and driver side footwells there is also water in the boot and rear foot parts if anyone can help will be appreciated thanks
