Calortec = same running costs as you have now - any difference merely pennies. All electric heaters are Very efficient.
A 2kW Calortec heater will put out 2kW of power and consume 2kW of electricity in doing so - just like your Dimplex heater does.
If the advertising suggests that a 2kW Calortec heater is only on for half the time for instance - then it may be true but it will only consume 1kW of power and deliver 1kW of heat.
