No spark?

Have a Craftsman snowthrower with a LH318SA Tecumseh 9 HP engine. Engine suddenly slowed down and then just died. No spark evident at the plug. Took cover off and can see the ignition mounted above flywheel. Now what?

Remove plug. Connect NEW plug and spin engine to check for spark (you will have to wind a rope around the starter cup if you have remove the housing).

Assuming the speed control isn't at STOP, and still no spark, replace the ignition module. Repair not possible - it's solid state.
