gilera dna 125 power problem?

i have a 05 plate gilera dna 125 and 1 day i was driving it and it slowly started losing power and making a rateling noise and nw it had lost loads of power i cant even drive it coz it only goes about 10-15mph. its starts normal i changed the oil. i dont no the problem can any 1 help the shop wants £50 to look at it and im very short mon money can any1 help please

to me it sounds like one of the rocker arms has broken,the dna like a runner vx uses a 4 valve head and if one of the arms breaks it will still run but be very low on power as the gases can not either enter or leave fast enough all depending on whether its an inlet rocker or an exhaust rocker that has snapped.it could also be a baffle in the exhaust thats blocking the exhaust gases from getting out of the exhaust quick enough.

i cant but my eye on exactly were is sounds like its coming from the the cylinder head.its ok just idling but when i rev it starts raterling and it is goin sooo slow

where is the noise coming from? Try and give just a little more information. Is it the engine or belt area?
