how do i remove and replace both the front headlight lenses on a ford transit model year 1996

It's attached with a silastic type stuff and what I did is, using a utility knife/blade, cut in the crack where the plastic case joins the clear plastic cover and using a straight head screwdriver to assist I successfully detached the clear cover from the back cover. I set out to do this in an endeavour to try and clean the plastic cover which had a yellow foggy tinge to it but after all the stuffing around it turned out to be stained and not able to remove it in any way and actually caused some fine scratches as I eventually resorted to a sponge scourer to try and remove the yellow colouring but still unsuccessful. Luckily I do have a spare for each side though they're pretty much in same condition as far as the foggy yellow appearance..

I think the lense is bonded to the plastic light body somehow even though there's a steel clip at each end of the light unit that look like they're holding the glass to the light body. To remove the whole light, remove indicators and grille, unscrew from the front, three hex screws at the corners of the lamp with a 10mm socket, then from inside unscrew the self tapper at the top left corner only (looking in)etc etc. hope thats some help.
