no water from hotwater tap, glow worm 30cxi?

Hi
I checked other replies and others with a similar problem state the water is not hot but mine is not running when I turn any hot water tap on.

the boiler and central heating system is 2yrs 5 mnths old and in this last year has lost pressure 3 times. yesterday the pressure dropped to .3 so I filled as usual until it reached 1.bar but when it fired up it rose to a worrying 1.9bar.
I have heating but no water. i have phoned the engineer but would like to know if anyone can help with this. I am a pensioner so need to watch the coppers.
thanks

Pressure loss from the boiler is most likely a faulty safety discharge valve. They leak, bleeding pressure from the system - common fault. Easy to replace.

The 'no hot water' problem is likely to be the diverter valve, or the motor that controls it. Again, quite common according to the internet. mine is playing up at the moment.
Have a look at http://www.glow-worm.co.uk/products/pdf/discontinued/boilers/CXI_range.pdf for the boiler manual, which has some useful info in it.
