how to change a cv boot on a pug 206

normally on the jap cars the joints just knock off... use a plastic or copper hammer on the outer edge of the joint and give it a slap... try not to hit the inner cage...tho if your fitting new onesit wont really matter mind the inner joint doesnt come out your gearbox or youll lose the oil. when re fitting put the new gaiter on the shaft first and then align the shaft and joint up try gentle tapping first if the joint wont go on you might have to get a small screwdriver to push the small metal clip in slightly on the shaft.. be carefull not to trap this clip and bend it. tap the end of the joint onto the shaft without damaging the threads...either use a plasic hammer or bit of wood good luck
