hi have an 03 330 d recently ran out of fuel only to find that now when the car is warm ,20 mins to an hour after switching off it will not start ,starts when cold no prob ,id appreciate any help if any1 can give me

the injectors are probably packed up.had a similar problem last year on my 320d e46,replaced injectors and it was back in action. ok, here's what my mechanic said, if you drive the car with very little fuel in the tank,all the tiny pieces of dirt that were lying at the bottom of the tank will go into the pipes and block the injectors, so now i try to run the car with enough fuel all the time.. so check the injectors or fill up at a different filling station to the one you normally use..
