its not really that good of an idea in the sense that it gives you alot of work to do,the standard filter it in harmony with the jet sizes of the standard carb,so if you put a race filter on it you will need to rejet the carb to suit ot or it will run lean and not run well at all.so either be prepared to have the job of hit and miss jetting or leave it.
