Fan motor for a JML halogen cooker?

Where can I get a fan motor for a JML halogen oven, as it has just stopped working and as I havent another oven it would be nice to fix it again...
Mike Southey, March 2010
I've had two ovens delivered where the fan motor was jammed. Unfortunately both were out of guarantee before I tested them so it was a self fix. On the first it was a simple job of straightening the mounting pillars but the second had been left running causing the motor to fail. I have repaired the motor by shorting out the thermal trip just under the winding cover. Probably not the best thing to leave it permanently but it will do until I can find another motor. These trips can fail for no real reason and are not resettable but probably available somewhere. It is probable that both problems were caused by bad handling during the delivery process.

same here also, fan motor not working. 1st problem, safety cover screws none standard (two pronged heads) 2, dismantle to reveal fan motor and fan motor fuse 3 check circuit and circuit of rotor pack. It is crucial to ascertain accurate amperage of fuse. It might be possible to get replacement fuse, but not the rotor pack. If fault is in rotor pack, discard, and buy new unit-----"If possible".

Same here. The thermal fuse in the fan motor windings failed and the oven overheated causing the main thermal fuse to fail also.

Hi
Ours has gone the same way. Having dismantled it I think it is unlikely that these would be available as spares. The motor windings are faulty and a repair would be uneconomic. This is poor quality control by the manufacturers.
I will be buying a better quality unit next time
