my dryer wont dry clothes keeps saying clean filter but all filters been cleaned

I keep having problems with my dryer. I'm on my second heat element in a week but it just keeps breaking. I take it to the repair man, he replaced the element and its working, I take it home - it works once then the clean filter light comes on, the machine is running but not getting hot. Any ideas??

Hoover candy are quoting a £37.90 (£50.41 includes postage and VAT) for the heating element. How do I make sure the Heating element is broken/faulty before I place the order? Is there a test I could do? I know the dryer is not heating well - is this an indication that this is the only faulty part?

Just want to be sure before I do the DIY and place the order with Hoover Candy. Thanks.

The symptons are: No Heatng for drying and the clean filter light is always on?

If your dryer button is not sticking in, you need to replace the relay pcb module which is situated just behind the front bezel. This module contains a relay which is not catching anymore. Remove 3 screws from top of lid at back of machine.
Slide wooden lid off.
You will see the wire harness at front by timer.
You need to change the little (match box size) module which has about 5 wires going to it.
Will cost you about 12 -15 quid
Call the manufacturer and they will charge over £100 call out.
Easy job to do youself
Phone up hoover parts dept and they'll sell you the part.
Hope this helps

If dryer is not producing any heat and the clean filter light is always on, you need to buy a new heating element.
Only a few quid. Dead easy to fit.
Turn dryer round. Remove 8, 10 or so screws from rear metal cover. You'll see the heater. Remove 2 screws, and gently pull the 4 wires (red, yellow, white, black) from out the hole into the machine. Disconect wires. Connect new heater wires (match colours up). And re-fit screws and back panel.
Job done. Very easy

I am having to hold in the start button for ages before dryer will go on its own, if you take your finger off too soon then it stops, this only seems to happen when the dryer is warm, if starting it from cold it doesn't happen. Thanks
