Loose change in my whirlpool cabrio washer WTW6600SW2?

I heard rattling noise during spin cycle for a while and then washer started to leak. Found that my drain pump was crack and when I removed it found two pennies inside. I replaced new drain pump but still heard the rattling noise. When I looked under the washer I saw about ten pennies in the plastic basket. How do I remove them and why does the coins get in there.

I too heard what I thought was loose change. Removed both pumps and inspected both and found no coins inside pumps. On the drain pump reached finger inside hole to bottom of basket and found a dime rest near hole. Looked at bottom of bin from underside and can see a quarter. Will probably need to remove entire drum to get quarter.
