pressure gauge keeps reducing?

the preesue gauge keeps reducing then knocking boiler off, as soon as i open the tap and fill the gauge to required level it goes ok, then just drops again,

Check for any leaks- under boiler, radiator valves etc

check copper pipe outside for signs of discharge. may be a PRV or expansion vessel problem
