what bike? is there a spark at the plug? take the plug out you will need a plug spanner for this earth the plug on the cylinder head or other clean piece of metal attached to the bike and turn the engine over either by kickstart or on the button? DONT HOLD THE PLUG WHEN TURNING THE ENGINE OVER!!!!!!! if there is a spark we are 50% there if not replace the plug.
Is the old plug wet with fuel? if yes
put in new plug DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN IT!!!!
replace fuel fuel goes off (you say bike has been standing). let me know how u get on.
