You could have a broken tacho wire. (One of the wires leading to the motor). The easiest way to find out is by tilting the machine backward and looking under it from the front but don't attempt a repair from this position. You would need to remove the front of the cabinet to gain easy access to the wiring leading from the module to the motor.
