How to replace solenoid valve?

Could you please explain how to remove (replace) the solenoid valve in Redring Plus Extra 7.2? I removed the cables attached to it, but how do I remove the solenoid? I guess I should press the four plastic tabs in the middle, but I tried and failed - I am afraid that I break it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Look at the Shower Doctor site. He gives specific guidance on how to replace solenoid. There is also a video.

You can see the valve here:

I want to remove the blue solenoid coil. Still can't figure it out how.

Someone selling it on ebay says:

"YOUR OLD COIL JUST LIFTS OFF, THEN SIMPLY JUST SLIDE THE NEW ONE ON.

YOU CAN LEAVE THE WATER ON!

FITTED IN 5 MINUTES

THIS WILL FIT EVERY REDRING SHOWER MADE FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS OLD INCLUDING... "

Sounds easy, but it is not really.

have you checked redring website to see if their is a spare parts diagram for this model.
solenoid valve is usually held to the shower base by 2-4 screws but it sounds like your valve uses clips to hold it down. With care you should be able to release these clips and then ease out the solenoid valve. Work slowly and you will find how to release the valve.
