take off the front cover on the panel, the alarm will then go off, put in your code to shut it up. when you have replaced the battery, put back front cover & reset

Oh how I wish there was a Master Code for every alarm system, it would save so much time in reprogramming when customers loose their code.
Of course I would not use it to gain entry to all the alarm systems in the country, would I ?
