I have a 51 renault clio in which i hear a gushing noice (like water runing) every now and then coming from near the glove box. When driving the other day my red warning light came on, i called out the aa but they found nothing wrong with the car. The car is not over heating or leaking water its very strange. Can any 1 help or know what it could be? Or where to get it fixed/how much it cost. Im useless with cars so wud have to go to garage.

If there is water going to the heater matrix would that cause the engine managment stop light to come on?

it just sounds like water coming into the heater matrix which is behind ur dashboard .
