Dishlex Global 300 has a styrofoam float underneath and a water channel and cup.
If water has leaked into this cup the dishwasher starts up to pump out residual water before filling but the styrofoam float operates a microswitch that stops the machine. About a minute of pump activity is about right.
The Cure?? Turn electricity off and unplug for safety then turn machine on its side to empty cup. Mop up spilled water, right dishwasher and try again. Note don't leave breakables inside when turning machine on its side. Check water level and seals when full.
