I recently moved my hoover vision 1600 washing machine and carried it by opening door to give extra grip.

On re positioning and carrying out spin cycle to check water re connection etc , when i opened the door there was a long plastic strip (thin)with like locking teeth on end that can be formed into a circle.
This was inside drum and i can only assume it maybe clips behing rubber seal ???
Has anyone any idea if this is correct and whether it will now oparate the same .

It goes around the rubber door seal to keep it in place.
With door open, place around seal with 'teeth' at the bottom. Push together.
