pretty sure the system is ok, as all the central locking works with the key. the Galaxy is a 02 2.3lt. i have changed the battery in the key remote, the key as 2 buttons. no glass eye. the red flashing led in the car is in the built in sat nav.not the clock, any hacks would be of help to re program the central locking with the key fob. or do i have a problem with the unit in the door?

Hi just had problem with centrol locking kept locking and unlocking hazard lights coming on when you press front window screen heater or lights couldnt work windows or side mirrors .problem was where the wire loom goes from the door to the door pillar in my case was the driver door a brown wire had wore and was completely severed this was an earth wire just pull the outer cover away from the door pillar to reveal wires soldered them together but could join them other ways and fixed the problem happy

I've tried exactly what u said but led light doesn't do anything in drivers door but stays red and then doesn't lock or unlock with remote only by the key

The light on the remote flashes 5 times, the one on the Galaxy dosn't flash at all. It just stays on for a few seconds then goes out.

close all windows on galaxy put key in drivers door lock turn key to unlok 3 times in 5 secs take key out got 15 secs to press and hold lock button and then whilst holdin lok button press unlok button 3 time then release unlok button key led flashes 5 times and led in galaxy 6 times to confirm acceptance
