my 2 stroke grass trimmer starts fine with choke when i switch it to run mode and give it some throttle it loses power and stalls your help would be appreciated.....thanks
i had this problem also. it can be caused by blockage of the fuel lines, a bad fuel filter, or a dirty tank. just take the tank off when its empty and start fresh. flush the tank and buy new lines plus a new filter. install all of these and fill with fresh, mixed gas. a few pulls and a bit of an idle adjustment and you should be set. another problem may be the carburator. there isnt much that can be done about this

Its running lean, the H and L screw on the carb needs to be adjusted, unscrew both 1/4 turn out, this should richen the mixture enought to keep it going, some mixture screws require a special tool to adjust.
