how can i fix my fridge freezer HMA280ALUGB?

i have a Hoover upright fridge freezer model no. HMA280ALUGB, which is not cooling or freezing, and the temp.control thermostat is no clicking when knob is turned up or down, its 4.5 years old. could it be the thermostat or refridgant coolant and can i fixit.
