Tamper fault lockout?

I have purchased a new Accenta G4. I have wired it up and it came up as "Tamper fault lockout". I have tried what it says in the Engineers Manual ie fit shorting wire between left hand pa terminal and I do not know what "set" on the board means as I have tried a number of times and am unable to get the tamper fault lockout off. I have tried battery and mains power and nothing happens. It is a remote LCD key pad and tamper fault lockout keeps showing the same fault. I have previously wired three other alarms and have had no problems before. Can you please advise as to how I may rectify this problem?

An early reply would be much appreciated.

Hello Harry, fitting a link between set and the pa terminal is to reset the panel to the default settings and codes.
If this is a new system the default user code will be 0123. If you have a tamper fault ie the tamper loop is open circuit you will have to clear it first or strap it out.
