How do I remove the on/off button housing of a dyson dc04?

I think there is a loose connection at the on/off button of my Dyson dc04 & am unsure as to how to open it to check. Anyone know?

Hi,
Go to www.dyson-online.com and click on 'Help & Support' then select either 'Technical Advice or 'Hints & Tips'. All the information and parts you need will be there.

find the groove on the flat side of the on/off button. Push a piece of wire down the groove to release the plastic catch on the button and pull off the button. The switch housing has a Hex screw down inside. Remove the screw and the housing lifts out
