How can I fix my Triton Shower T90si 9.5kw Power Shower?

When the shower is running after a few minutes it trips the electric! It seem to happen as you turn the heat up restricting the water flow. It seem fine on very low heat setting and runs o.k as tepid!

I checked the the breaker and it is 40amp. It is also a seperate switch to the shower. The shower runs o.k on low heat settings 6,7,8,9 but when turned to high heat 'two red wave lines' in trips this 40amp then the main house breaker board. All the electric goes off! We have had this shower for about 5yrs.

Check that the circuit breaker (should be a residual current detector really) is 40 amp or greater, the heating elements come on in stages as you require them with this shower, so it could be as the electrical current demand increases that it exceeds the rating of the breaker.
