How do I replace the pull cord on my ryobi trimmer??

I snapped to pull cord on my ryobi trimmer (725rE) but can't figure out how to open it up and get to the spool. Can't figure out how to get past the magnets to get the housing off.

The pull cord will jam and stay out. I took it apart & put it back in but it will jam out again. Do I have to buy another pull cord assemble for this unit? or I'm do something wrong?
