how can I fix my hotpoint WF340?

I put my washing machine on and then it fills up to wash and then clicks al lights start flashing and water drains out

Hotpoint WF340

As the cycle starts, the drum (whilst turning) makes a whining noise. within 30 seconds to 1 minute, the machine stops, the on/off button flashes at high speed and the machine drains off.
