No Heat on Creda t620cw?

My tumble dryer is not giving out any heat? Has the heating element packed up?
Andy, November 2004
it is more than likley the thermostat kit positioned above the heating element

I also had the same problem. I changed the heater element - no heat. I changed the thermostats - no heat. Then I replaced the timer switch and now lots of heat. So I would try replacing the cheap items first - as in above and if this fails buy a timer switch - costs about £26.00p.

It is possibly the thermostats. i have the same problem with my CREDA. Unplug the unit and short out both thermostats (these are behind a metal cover on the rear). If the element gets hots then that is your problem.

You can easily buy thermostat kits for Creda appliances.
