How do i get to the power lead connection?

I have a panasonic MC-E458K upright Vacuum cleaner.

How do I remove the panel in order to get to the power lead connection?

Remove chrome phillips screw on rear of machine at base of handle.
Now the clever bit, SLIDE off complete handle assembly to rear of machine (may require slight tap ).
Remove bag cover.
Remove bag.
Remove two chrome phillips screws holding front plate onto machine.
Now remove front plate to gain access to mains cable, and switch.
