AEG competence model number D2100-4 electric fanned double oven, main oven is overheating element glowing red hot after 2 minutes of use burns food doesn't seem to respond to setting, is this the element or a thermostat any help would be appreciated my missus is not a happy bunny at the minute

is the fan working?.if fan is working then you would have to say it was the main oven thermostat that was faulty
